Omar Hammady is a former political and legal advisor to the UN Missions in Libya, Syria and Yemen. He previously worked as a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, and at the Amsterdam Centre of International Law. Omar Hammady teaches international law and comparative constitutional law as a visiting lecturer at the Saint-Joseph University (Lebanon), and at the Central European University (Budapest, Hungary). He holds a Master’s degree in Public International and European Law from Université Paris XI, as well as a Master’s degree in Diplomacy and International organizations from the same University. Omar Hammady is currently finalizing his Phd in public International law at Université Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne, France.
