Milica Kostić
Milica Kostić is the former Legal Program Director and Executive team member of the Humanitarian Law Center (HLC) – a regional transitional justice NGO, based in Belgrade. She was responsible for managing the Center’s legal programme – monitoring war crimes trials, representing victims both in war crimes trials and reparation proceedings, researching crimes against international law committed during these conflicts and filing criminal complaints against suspected perpetrators. Prior to joining the HLC, Milica was a trainee at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Dispute Resolution Group and interned at the ICTY. Previously, Milica worked as an Assistant professor in Public International Law at the Union University Law School in Belgrade. She holds an LL.M. degree from the University of Michigan Law School and an LL.B. degree from the Union University Law School in Belgrade.
