Lorenzo Cotula is the Head of the Law, Economies and Justice programme at the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), a policy research institute based in the United Kingdom. Lorenzo’s research cuts across international economic, environmental and human rights law, with a particular interest in interdisciplinary approaches that shed light on how international law operates in practice, and is experienced, at local to global levels.
