Dr. Marlies Hesselman is Assistant Professor in Public International Law at the Department of Transboundary Legal Studies of University of Groningen. She lectures on public international law, international human rights law and international environmental law, and publishes widely on human rights and climate change, international disaster law, environmental health, and access to energy as a new human right.
