Abdulhay Sayed

About/Bio

Abdulhay Sayed is an independent Syrian lawyer, and has been a lecturer in law in the Damascus Faculty of Law from 2005 to 2011. He graduated in law from the University of Damascus and holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, as well as a DES and a Ph.D. in international law from the Graduate Institute of International Studies of the University of Geneva. He writes on corruption, good governance, human rights, Syrian constitutional and public law, and the sociology of law. He is author of Corruption in International Trade and Commercial Arbitration, Kluwer Law International, 2004.
