Patrick Kroker

About/Bio

Patrick Kroker is Senior Legal Advisor in the International Crimes and Accountability program at the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR) where he directs the center's work on Syria. He is a German-qualified lawyer and represents survivors in several cases involving international crimes, including the so-called Al Khatib trial before the Higher Regional Court in Koblenz. Kroker received his PhD in 2012 from the University of Hamburg on the subject of victims’ participation in international criminal proceedings.
