Frédéric Gilles Sourgens serves as Editor in Chief of Oxford University Press’ InvestmentClaims.com reporter of international arbitral awards between states and foreign investors. He is the Director of the Washburn Oil and Gas Law Center and Professor of Law at Washburn University School of Law. Freddy’s research explores the constitutive value of transnational legal processes in responding to the challenges of globalization with particular emphasis on the principle of good faith. Freddy is the author or editor of approximately a dozen books, including Evidence in International Investment Arbitration (with Ian A. Laird and Kabir Duggal) (Oxford University Press 2018) and approximately 50 articles, book chapters, and essays. International arbitral tribunals have cited his work as authority on questions of international dispute resolution and transnational law.
