Nicola Strain

About/Bio

Dr Nicola Strain is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Oslo. Nicola also works as a researcher in the Compliance Politics in International Investment Disputes (COPIID) project at PluriCourts. She completed her PhD at PluriCourts in 2022 on the topic of the jurisdiction of the WTO and investor-state dispute settlement mechanisms as part of an interdisciplinary project on State Consent to International Jurisdiction. Her revised PhD thesis has been published with Brill: The Adjudicator's Toolkit and the Force of International Law".
