Dr. Florian Kriener is a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, Germany and a associate member with the Chair of International Law at Humboldt University of Berlin. He holds a doctorate in law from the University of Heidelberg and has clerked with the German Foreign Office's International Law Division and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
